FAQ
Common questions
Will solar work on my roof?
Usually yes. We check your roof area, shading and how many faces it is split across during the free site visit.
What happens at night?
Grid supply continues as normal. Exported daytime energy is offset against what you consume after dark, so the grid works as your battery.
Do I need a battery?
No. Sarawak’s NEM eligibility excludes systems with battery storage, so a grid-connected system without one is what qualifies for the subsidy.
How long does approval take?
Roughly 1 to 2 months for the NEM application, about 2.5 months end to end from site survey to your subsidy landing. Your NEM contract must be signed by 31 December 2026 to qualify.
Who maintains it?
A rooftop system is very stable and normally needs no repair. If anything does go wrong, come to us. We will still be here in the decades ahead.
What if a panel fails?
Panel and inverter warranties are the manufacturers’. We handle the whole claim process for you, start to finish.
Will drilling cause leaks?
Installation does not normally cause leaks. If our work does cause one, call us any time and we will come back to fix it.
Can I add panels later?
Only up to your inverter capacity. Beyond that it needs a larger inverter, and any addition also needs Sarawak Energy approval.
